At last. Website gone public. Hard doing this without technical guidance. But, I am told, writers need to learn how to market their books.
That’s a really hard task, for someone not technologically and digitally adept. I hope you will bear with me while I learn the ropes.
I hope, too, that you will claim your free gift of a short story that people seem to be enjoying. Check the website menu above for that, and claim your FREE gift. Or get 8 short stories for your smartphone HERE.
I could spend months more getting the website right. Just like the dilemma faced by all writers: the text will never be completely right. It could always benefit from further revision. I once knew a student who took fourteen years to finish her PhD thesis. She got her long-awaited promotion when she finished it and finally graduated. Someone said “just think about the years of lost salary, and lost pension, and lost… opportunities.” Perfection is an elusive dream, and it might cost us in the long run.
I take comfort in something Lee Child told me not too long ago, quoting from James Thurber: “Don’t get it right. Get it written.”
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The penultimate page of the website allows you to do that. Above all, please claim that free gift.
Best wishes, and happy reading.
